Although the school year is formally broken into three terms, for the curriculum we use four terms; this is for planning and assessment purposes. The curricular terms are as follows:
Term 1 August – October (mid-term holiday) 8 weeks
Term 2 October – December 8 weeks
Term 3 January – March 11 weeks
Term 4 April – June 11 weeks

It is exceptionally difficult for us to separate the curricular areas as so much of the children’s learning is interlinked but please see below for an insight into some of the experiences the children may have within each curricular area.
