There has never been a stronger focus on ensuring that your child experiences the highest quality of Early Learning and Childcare. Working closely with parents and carers, the Nursery team work together with our families to understand a little more about the experiences and interactions each child has had prior to joining ESMS.

The children are at the centre of all that we do and through sensitive and supportive interactions, the Nursery team follow and build upon the children’s ideas and interests so that each child can explore and make the most of the learning opportunities on offer. Our children are naturally inquisitive and curious, so by providing an empowering and interesting environment, we look forward to building on what the children already know and what they can already do, which is then carefully balanced with wider learning across the curriculum.

Many of our Nursery staff are trained in attachment led practice and the interactions and relationships that our children have with the adults who are caring for them not only supports learning and developmental progress but also the enjoyment the children experience, being part of our Nursery! Staff will gently work with your child to support them over the coming weeks and months and offer different experiences at different times. If your child does not wish to experience this or take part in certain activities, please don’t worry about this as the team will consider what is right for your child at the time.
