Welcome to Primary 1
A big welcome to those children who are moving from Nursery to join us in Primary 1 and also to those children who are new to our school and will be joining Primary 1 in August. We hope that this page will help to answer lots of your questions about starting Primary 1.
Children will be meeting their new Class Teacher on Friday 15 August, more details to follow.

Transition Timeline for Primary 1 children
May - Transition pages go live. This includes a link to quick start guides (QSG) which have lots of information to help prepare for the start of the new session.
end of May - existing children will receive and email with details of the class/teacher for next session and videos will appear on this Transition page
late May/early June- Wraparound bookings open (a letter will be sent mid may warning you of this date)
Tuesday 3 June - Primary 1 Welcome information evening for parents with children starting Primary 1 next session (7pm at Easter Ravelston)
mid June - Information about August Welcome session dates and times sent to parents
late June - Handbooks (Curriculum and Practical)- links are published on this page.
Friday 15 August- short morning welcome session ahead of term starting
