3. Information about the school
As you can imagine, there is a lot of information available to you. To make this as easy as possible, feedback from parents suggested we have broken this into sections which are released incrementally. It is stored on 'Firefly' and needs a special username and password to access it before August. This password information will be emailed to you via SchoolPost.
Quick Start Guide - This has lots of information you need to get going in the leadup to the start of term. Split into three sections it looks at 'Practical information', 'Your Child's First Week' and 'Wellbeing'. By the time you have read all of this you should have all the information you need to start the term. This section of the welcome information is made 'live' around the end of April to help you prepare. You will need the special username and password we email you to access it before the start of term in August. Please access the link below.
Handbook - This contains all the other information that you may not need until after your child starts e.g. Policies, curriculum information and other more specific information such what to do on a snow day! This section is made live for parents at the end of June. You will need the special username and password we email you to access it before the start of term in August.
Transition Page - The Transition pages have specific information about how we help your child settle into ESMS, such as welcome events for you or your child, videos of staff, videos of class teachers (once they are announced) etc. This page goes live mid May.
